Can you believe it’s December 1st!? I surely can, as I’ve been counting the days since August!! Christmas music is no longer illegal, decorations spring from their dark places in the basement, Lights decorate the houses on the way home, Oh how I LOVE December 1st! I’m going home to watch as many Christmas movies as I can before I fall asleep on the Couch! (I guess that means Andrew’s dragging the 400 boxes out of the basement!) You think I’m kidding but my family will tell you that every time they have helped me move, there have been more boxes marked “Christmas” than any other category!
Oh how I adore this season, and this year will be even more special as Ella really “gets” what’s going on. She’s already told me that she’s only going to tell Santa what she wants for Christmas, that it’s a secret just between them (Uh Oh, I hope it hasn’t changed from the Mermaid Barbie she’s been asking for since July, ’cause Santa’s already got that ready!)
Anyway, Happy December! Try not to get too caught up in the stress, and if you need a place to rest and have a hot cuppa tea, we’re here!
Cherished Chum Jingle Mingle Christmas Party ~ Saturday December 4th from 5-9
It’s that time of year again where Cherish the Thought gets to thank all our Cherished Chums for supporting us this year. We’ve had a heck of a go at it, but we know without a doubt that without your support we wouldn’t still be here, and to show you how special you are to us, we are hosting the 3rd annual Jingle Mingle chock full of Food, Wine and Store Specials.
If you are not currently a Cherished Chum, you can sign up for the membership that night too, the more people at the party the better! For $25 a year, you will receive 15% off all your Scrapbooking purchases (Classes, Services and Artisan pieces excluded) as well as a few extra specials throughout the year.
Bring Your Cherish Bag with you, I’ll make it worth your while!
We would like to just take a quick moment to explain that we would like to wish all of you a Merry Christmas, and that we do not plan on being politically correct. We don’t mean to offend, but this is our blessing to you, as we would accept your “Season’s Greetings”, “Happy Hanukah” etc.
At this time of year, we would like everyone to enjoy the holidays in whatever way you celebrate it, and hope that you understand that when Jessie wishes you a Merry Christmas, and Andrew wishes you a Happy Christmas, and Ella wishes you a Merry Miss Miss, we only mean that we hope you have the very best Season you could possibly have. So with that said…
Cherished Chums Christmas Cards are Ready!
I’d like to say that for the first time in our history, I am completely ready to give them out! But I can’t, sigh. I have most of them almost finished, and they will be here for Friday, but I do have a couple for the first few Chums that come in tomorrow.
So, for all our Cherished Chums, please come in sometime this month, give us a chance to Wish you a Merry Christmas and pick up your Christmas Card (there may be a little surprise inside…)
See you soon!
New in Stock
I will be bringing in the entire Spellbinders line for our Jingle Mingle this Saturday so if you want to see them in person instead of online, this is your chance!
Canadian Scrapbooker 5th Anniversary Edition celebrates Cherish the Thought
How can I possibly have forgotten to tell you all that the New Canadian Scrapbooker arrived last week WITH OUR ARTICLE in it, Whoo Hoo! There we are on page 136, and they couldn’t have done a better job of capturing what we’re trying to do around here! Mylene, who wrote the article, is planning a trip to BC next Spring and she promises to stop by the store. We can’t wait to give her a great big hug for the beautiful thoughts she put into words for us. So if you don’t have a copy yet, we still have a couple left.
