Cherished Chat ~ July 20

Hi Everybody,

We’re getting into the full swing of summer around here, all the signs are present.  An Air conditioned store to help you forget about the sun outside, Christmas Card Classes on the calendar and Easy card idea’s for those of you getting a head start on this years 100 Christmas cards that need to be sent out.  Christmas in July!?  Yuck, but I guess it’s the way of the scrapbooking world!  And of course we’re here to help you get it all together, so if you’re looking for some inspiration, lots of holiday ideas are starting to trickle into our store.  Good thing I LOVE Christmas and am obviously getting my life long wish of “If only Christmas could last all year”!  That’ll teach me!  Hmm, I wonder what I should wish for now…

NEW Product!!

Once again I was on hand to be the first in the Lower Mainland to receive the new Provocraft Embossing folders that coordinate with the Cricut Cartridges Robotz, Preserves, Heritage, Sentimentals and Create a Critter!  And we’ve stocked the store, so if you want to be one of the first to play with these new folders, come on in!

We’ve also decided to Bulk the folders (for the store only, not online), so even though they come in a variety pack of 4, we’re breaking them up and selling them individually!  That way, you can purchase just the ones YOU like instead of being forced to get the whole set. Whoo Hoo!  (Wait until you see the Robotz one, Chriss, it is Kee-Ute!)

Ella’s Antics
On the way home from work on Saturday we decided to stop off at the grocery store to pick up something special for dinner.  As we arrived in the parking lot, Ella spotted the moon in the sky, even though it was still daylight.

“Daddy, Daddy, look at the moon, look, LOOK!”

When we got out of the car, Ella again, pointed out the moon to us.

Ella – “Mommy, Look!  The moon”
Jessie – “Yes, honey, I see it”

A beautiful quarter moon, hanging perfectly in the clear blue sky.

Ella – “Oh No, It’s Broken”
Andrew “uhhh, it’s not broken, munchkin, but THAT’s going to be a little hard to explain”

Yikes, how DO you explain the Earth’s shadow on the moon to a Three Year Old?
And what about Mars showing up in our Sky vision next month? (Don’t get excited, apparently Mars is an e-mail hoax, too bad, it sounded cool!)

I guess this is the beginning of a VERY long bedtime story!

And with that
Stamp yourself Silly,
Adhere with Abandon,
And kkep your eye on the moon, you never know when it’ll break on you!
Ella, Jessie, Andrew, Annie, Lori, Doreen, Charlotte and Sheryll
