Cherished Chat

Hello again,

I’m off tomorrow, so I’m sending this a day earlier. Funny how 2 posts ago I mentioned how changing the post day to Tuesday would make things so much easier, yet last week I was late and this week I’m early, ha ha, best laid plans etc etc, that’s how the saying goes right?
So…without further ado…

Congratulations to our Survivor 3 winner, Yvonne Jackson!
It was a close race, the final count was 30 to 36, with last minute votes coming in right at 5! Come on in, Yvonne, and get your $25 Cherished Cheque 😉

Also i need to announce (because I forgot to on the last post and remembered seconds after I hit “send”) The winner of our Bobunny Loot bag…Katrina Watts, thankfully I let her know before all of you, easy to do when you forget to include in a newsletter (tee hee)

Backorder Updates
Bazzil still not here, but my fingers are crossed for tomorrow
Double Petal Punch due to arrive in Ontario mid July, and they said they’d ship direct to me, instead of going to the States, and then back up here (sheesh!)
Upcoming Orders
This week I’m going to put in a couple of orders from the following companies, if you would like anything, please let me know and I will add to the order.
Old Island stamp Company
Quickutz
Judikins (I know, this was supposed to be last week)

New in the Store
Buttons Galore arrived, so some new colours and styles have come in, this photo does not do them justice, there are translucent coloured flowers, stars, teeny buttons in black, pastels, autumn, more Bags of Buttons, and yes, those ARE Christmas bulk buttons woo hoo! Do you think I may have an addiction to buttons?

Kids Workshops ~ Next week
I apologize for the lateness of the samples, time just seems to move faster than I do! Especially this week, since I hurt my back, it’s amazing how much you need your back for the simplest things!

All classes are $10 each and include everything they will need to complete the project (Even Glue!)
Above is the “Dream Catcher” made from a Movie Reel Tin which is Monday’s Morning class at 10:30am for about 1 1/2 hours.

Here is the “Door Knob Hanger” for the afternoon class at 1:oo pm, also to run about 1 1/2 hours.

Lindsey’s layout is Tuesday morning at 10:30

With Caelin’s cards at 1pm

Wednesday is already set for adult workshops, it’s Gwen’s “Summer Eh” Layout

Thursday morning is the altered Jewellery box at 10:30 with the Charm Bracelet at 1pm.

Friday is the 4″ x 4″ Acrylic book at 10:30am with an Altered Cigar Box in the afternoon at 1pm

Now, all these projects are created quite feminine, but that’s because we’ve normally only had girls sign up for these workshops, however, if there are any little men out there that would like to do these projects, these samples can easily be changed to suit their taste. (Jonathan, you’d get your choice of papers from the store, and we’ve got some great Plane and Train die-cuts instead of butterflies etc…?)

Saturday’s Neat ‘Nique
We’re doing Palette Watercolours, these are thicker than Twinkling H2O’s, I haven’t made the sample but you may have seen quite a few cards in the store, the shine is amazing!

Anyway, I’m sure there’s more, but i need to sit down and rest the back, probably need more Ibuprofen too, and a heat pack, and a glass of wine….well, you get the idea 🙂

So,
Spread the Sparkle,
Adhere with Abandon,
and Find a place you could easily spend time in, with a strong Air conditioner 😉 (oh, that could be us!)
Jessie
